Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, there is an estimated backlog of 2.7 million spay/neuter surgeries.
With more and more veterinary professionals leaving the field, the gap is growing, leaving rural areas impacted the hardest. 

Our surgeries (spay & neuter) are only eligible to healthy* pets aged 4 months to 6 years** 
*Pets cannot have pre-existing conditions such as, epilepsy, seizures, active skin infections, broken limbs, stenotic nares*** etc. 
** Age exceptions may be possible with APPROVED pre-operative bloodwork and exam.
*** Breeds not eligible for surgery with us are English Bulldogs and French Bulldogs
other brachycephalic breeds are eligible if they come for pre-operative exam and approved for surgery

Pharmacy Update

Started on September 1st, 2022 we no longer accept outside pharmacy request. We have launched our own online pharmacy where all of our clients can order from.

Effective 01/10/2024: 

Central Spay Neuter and Wellness has made a change to our deposit requirements for our

spay and neuter appointments due to excessive cancellations and no-shows.

All appointments will now be required to make a $83 deposit to schedule.

This has come into effect as of 12:30pm on 1/10/2024.

DON'T FORGET -- IT'S THE LAW!

North Carolina General Statute 130A-185 requires that any owner of a dog, cat or ferret shall have their animal vaccinated between 12 and 16 weeks of age and keep the animal currently vaccinated against rabies.
