My love for animals started at a young age as I grew up with multiple dogs. I joined the United States Marine Corps when I was 17 and one of my jobs there was being a military dog handler, who I completed 4 tours with. When I got out of the Marine Corps I got a job as a daycare attendant and worked my way up to general manager of the boarding facility (which had a capacity of over 400 animals!) Since then I have been the general manager of multiple boarding facilities and daycares. I moved on to veterinary medicine as a vet assistant and have been one for about 10 years now. I have worked with orthopedics and worked in rehab as a certified rehab technician. I now work at Central, where I acquired my wild Malinois mix named Kavik (he likes to keep me on my toes).
